Lens Era-14. This is a bomb! And the sensations in the hands and the result! Feels in his hands - because a hefty piece of glass and iron weighing 2 kg (without the camera) vividly recalls the bored pudding weights, which I have not even tried to raise even to the level of the knees for a hundred years already). By the result - because it's sharp like ...., well, let's say, as brigand (by the way, carefully - in self-defense this fool of the same brigand can be nailed to death, but the legislation is imperfect in our country). Installed in a specially made case and adapted to the M42. So about the harshness. If you want to get a severe male portrait with a large life experience printed on your face, with a bunch of wrinkles, scars, etc. - this is to Era-14. All original sonnar's of Germany and their fake Soviet brothers, as well as planar, biotar and biometar - can relax in their boxes and tubes. Era-14 - a real male portrait. And the man should be both the object (portra...

The story of little Rokkor. Part 4 and last. Industar-95 38-2,8 from Elikon-Autofocus vs Minolta Rokkor 38-2,8 from Minolta Hi-Matic AF To be honest, I’m already a little tired of talking about little Rokkor. But I will see it through to the end. There will be almost no text now. Just a few examples. In this case, the same Industar and a slightly different Rokkor were in the game. However, almost the same, only a slightly different modification. The test also included two cameras - a micro 4/3 half frame camera and a full-format mirrorless camera. My opinion - of course, Rokkor is a little better than the Soviet Industar. It is sharper at infinity, and for some reason its minimum focusing distance is much shorter (probably 0.5 meters versus 1 m for Industar). Of course, you need to understand that both lenses do not have an aperture. Perhaps with a diaphragm the results would have been different. Both lenses, by the way, can work at full frame without any problems. And one m...

Is this a lens? In the chest in the far corner lies one product of the photographic industry. I'm not entirely sure what this lens is. Looks like an eyepiece from a night vision device or something similar. If you know what this is, please write to me. This optical device has, in my opinion, a focal length of approximately 75mm and the aperture ratio seems to be 1/1.5. c-mount type. And of course there is no aperture. It can be installed on mirrorless cameras using appropriate adapters. This “lens” covers the micro 4/3 frame and the APS-C frame with a vignette. Since it does not have a diaphragm, I used an external one, which I put on the front lens. Here are some shots from this lens on a m4/3 camera. Paired frames - the first frame with the aperture fully open, the second frame with the aperture slightly closed. And a few more frames from an APS-С matrix. In principle, I think it's very good for such a thing. Under certain conditions, this “lens” could take good portraits. .
