 The story of little Rokkor. Part 3. In the rubble of text files and folders with pictures on my computer I found a template for part 3 of an article about little Rokkor. It seems that this was a total disappointment in the product of the Soviet photographic industry. In this case, Rokkor’s opponent was the Industar-81 lens with the same parameters - aperture ratio 1/2.8, focal length 38mm. I thought it was impossible to ruin a tessar. But the Soviet masters succeeded. This lens was on the FED-Mikron camera. I hope the poor quality of this lens only applies to this example. Otherwise, it is unclear how FED engineers slept peacefully after creating such rubbish. There will be no comments on the footage, I’ll just show old footage. There ...

 BV-Tele Aremac 4.5/200 or Jupiter-21 4/200 Once upon a time, when we did not yet know about the tricks of Chinese chemists and biologists in Wuhan and hordes of wild creatures had not yet attacked my country, I wrote the text below. But I didn’t publish it. Just out of laziness, probably. Now I found it on my computer and decided to finish the job. There are two reasons for this - 1. It is very advisable to still bring the matter to the end. 2. There was a reason to compare this Aremak with another product of the Soviet photographic industry. But this will be the second part. I publish the text of the first part almost without changes. I’ll add that back then the shooting was done on a Canon 5D, which died this year. But the camera is very loyal to this type of old trash, which is why I love it. And I decided that the old man should live and a certain amount of banknotes could be spent on this. Today I was happy to receive my camera from repair! So...text from 2019. Quite recently...

 Vega-5U adapted to m42. A very rare case when my master adapted a lens using a helicoid from another lens. Usually, for adaptation in each specific case, special parts were made on a lathe for each specific lens block. But in this case, it was decided to use a helicoid from the usual Helios. It turned out not very aesthetically pleasing, but functional. The lens gives a good picture, very sharp. After all, this is a lens for a photographic enlarger. But when used outdoors, a hood is highly recommended. It is included, as are the lids. The lens is offered for sale.

My "collection".  I guess it's my turn to show my "collection". To do this, I decided to dig a little in my photo archives. I found the earliest footage - 2012. Probably, this year can be considered the beginning, when it became interesting for me to spend my small budget on various photo junk. I almost never tried to make such shots great, high quality. All photos of my "collection" were taken "for the record" and almost always on the phone. In 2021, as you can see, I definitely decided that I was not interested in watching entire racks with ancient products of the photographic industry. Only for some devices I allocated only one shelf in the closet. Everything else was sent to the chest. And now, in August 2023, almost the entire "collection" looks like in the last photo. Why in boxes? I think you can guess.
